Dr. Akash Parihar
Dr. Parihar founded the psychiatry practice that grew into Asha’s mental health department, and his scope reflects that founding breadth: general psychiatric conditions sit alongside a dedicated addiction medicine pathway and a confidential sexual medicine practice — three areas that, in most hospitals, would be split across three different doctors who never speak to each other. He works closely with Dr. Neha Mehra, our clinical psychologist, so that patients needing both medication management and structured psychotherapy don’t have to coordinate that themselves. His published research includes work on social media addiction patterns among medical students and on suicidal ideation within sexual-minority subgroups — reflecting a clinical interest in populations that are often under-studied and under-served.
Dr. Rinku Chouhan
Dr. Chouhan’s practice spans the full reproductive lifecycle — not just delivery. Before joining Asha she was a consultant at Max Hospital, New Delhi and Paras Hospital, Gurugram, and she presently also teaches as Assistant Professor at Sudha Medical College, Kota. That combination of metro-hospital experience and academic teaching shows in how she handles complexity: high-risk pregnancy management is a genuine area of expertise, not a referral-out category, and infertility evaluation is a particular clinical interest she goes deep on rather than treating as routine. She’s published research on PCOS-related insulin resistance and on abnormal uterine bleeding in perimenopausal women — both areas she also sees regularly in clinic.
Dr. Piyush Malav
Dr. Malav’s practice covers unusual breadth: general surgical procedures like hernia and gallbladder repair sit alongside complex reconstructive work — burns, trauma reconstruction, skin grafts and flap surgery — and a full range of cosmetic procedures. That range comes from real training depth: he’s an Associate Life Member of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India, previously a Senior Consultant at Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad, and presently also an Assistant Professor at Sudha Medical College, Kota, alongside his work here. His published research includes a study on reconstructive surgery techniques in leprosy and a comparative analysis of incision techniques in gynecomastia surgery — reflecting an interest in reconstructive precision, not just aesthetic outcomes.
Pediatric Department — Asha Pediatric Care
Our pediatric department is built around continuity — the same clinical philosophy from a newborn’s first checkup through adolescence, rather than passing families between unconnected providers as their child grows. With 2 dedicated NICU beds on-site, the department can support newborns who need extra monitoring without a transfer to another facility. Vaccination, growth and nutrition tracking, and developmental screening are treated as routine, ongoing conversations with parents rather than one-off appointments — and where a concern crosses into behavioural or developmental territory, the department coordinates directly with our clinical psychology team.
Dr. Neha Mehra
Dr. Mehra provides structured psychological assessment and therapy — individual, couple, and family sessions — for patients across all age groups. For patients already under Dr. Parihar’s psychiatric care, she works jointly on combined medication-and-therapy treatment plans; for others, she sees patients independently for psychotherapy and psychological testing without requiring a psychiatric referral first.
